What are the responsibilities and job description for the Catering Operations Driver position at C.B.K Catering & Events?
The CBK Driver/Operations Associate Team Member is accountable for leading the drop off deliveries and assisting the Operations Director with other various tasks .
The CBK Driver/Operations Associate Team Member is tasked with:
- Leading all drop off catering deliveries
- Transporting (picking up/returning) any rental items or special orders, as needed
- Ensuring all event equipment is stored properly and safely
- Collaborating with the Director of Operations on training and helping to hold staff accountable for the proper storage, transport and care of event equipment.
- Inspecting event equipment prior to loading to ensure proper working order, and communicating with the Director of Operations if anything needs to be fixed. (i.e. Catering oven, fryers, tents, etc)
- Assisting Operations Director and Operations Associate with daily packing of events.
- Assisting with loading company trucks for each event prior to event team arrival.
- Assisting FOH/BOH teams with transporting, setting up, breaking down and unloading event equipment.
- Ensuring all china, cutlery and glassware are properly polished prior to pulling for the event.
- Assists with counting, pulling and organizing china/glassware orders for weekly events.
- Working with the Operations Director to establish the CBK driver standards and leading driver training for employees.
- Operating a fleet of various sized vehicles (i.e. vans, sprinter vans, box trucks).
- Ensures all company vehicles are fully fueled & DEF is topped off
- Clean and detail all company vehicles according to the weekly schedule given by the Operations Director.
- Pick up weekly operation’s orders (i.e. Sam’s Club, Total Wine, ABC, etc.)
- Interacting professionally with clients, team members, and suppliers.
- Checks and ensures all propane and gas tanks are full at all times.
- Assist with detailing and cleaning event cooking equipment, as needed (event ovens, grills, etc..)
- Assist with cleaning and painting event equipment, as needed (carts, risers, heat lamps, tables, etc…)
- Assist with continuous cleaning, sanding and oiling of all wood boards according to the monthly schedule given by the Operations Director.
- Ensuring workplace safety, OSHA & food safety compliance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
