C & B Operations is a forward-thinking family-owned business that has expanded over 35 years to encompass thirty-six John Deere dealerships in six states. We are currently seeking a skilled Service Technician for our John Deere dealership location in Roscoe, South Dakota.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnostics and repair of agricultural farm equipment
- Participation in training programs for skill development and knowledge enhancement
- Maintenance of accurate job notes and records
- Accounting for time and materials used in performing assigned tasks
- Maintenance of current product knowledge on John Deere and competitive products
- Maintenance of a clean work environment and adherence to safety protocols
- Vehicle maintenance and upkeep of inventory, tools, and equipment
- Promotion of service department to customers, including service work, inspections, and parts sales
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Diesel Technology or related field preferred
- Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion required for the job
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of machinery repair methods, materials, and techniques
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Will to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
