Role Description
This is a full-time sandblaster position based in Savannah, GA. The Sandblaster will be responsible for preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed. Daily tasks include operating sandblasting equipment to remove scale, paint, and other contaminants from surfaces. The Sandblaster will need to ensure that surfaces are correctly prepared for subsequent coating and finishing processes. This is an on-site role.
Qualifications
- Experience with sandblasting equipment and surface preparation techniques
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in a sandblasting environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in coatings and finishing is a plus
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Must be firearm friendly
Salary : $12 - $18
