WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 3 years of experience in construction sales
- Proven track record of meeting targets and driving revenue growth - please include specific examples in your resume or application!
- Strong understanding of the multi-family construction sector, blueprints, and project timelines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and sales tools
- Self-starter with a high motivation to meet goals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a territory
- Ability to manage several projects in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED CRITERIA
- Experience working with multi-family residential projects
- Familiarity with Division 10 product lines such as closet shelving, restroom partitions, lockers, and other specialty products
YOUR DAY-TO-DAY
Our Multi-Family Sales Representative works from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. This position also requires some limited travel.
Your main goals are to identify new business opportunities, foster relationships with new and current clients, and smash sales targets for Division 10 products. Prioritizing opportunities in the multi-family construction sector, you actively research and identify potential clients, including contractors, developers, and architects. You reach out to prospects, promote our extensive line of products and their benefits, and close deals with clients. By nurturing relationships and building connections, you ensure high customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Attentive to detail, you prepare and submit competitive product proposals, quotes, and bids. You collaborate with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and other staff to ensure sold products are appropriately delivered and installed. Motivated to consistently exceed your goals and drive business growth, you stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and evolving customer needs. You work with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and logistics, to ensure seamless product delivery and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you track and report your sales activities and pipeline progress.
