ABOUT THE ROLE
Schedule : In this position, you'll work a typical schedule of 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, giving you a balanced work-life routine while making a real impact in the building supply industry.
Your Typical Day : As a Building Supply Sales Rep, your journey with C Bennett Building Supply begins with a 6 to 12-month training period, tailored to how quickly you adapt.
During this time, you'll learn the ropes and get to know our products inside and out. Once you've completed training, you'll take charge of a list of accounts-maintaining relationships with decision-makers, growing your portfolio, and becoming the go-to expert for your clients.
Each day, you'll be out in the field, building strong conne ctions, solving problems, and driving sales. Success in this role requires more than just sales skills;
The Minimum Requirements to Be Considered :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven success in an outside sales position, preferably selling products and / or services in the construction industry
- Valid driver's license
- A "success is earned, not given" mentality
Preferred Qualifications :
- 3 years of successful sales experience in the same or a related market
- Experience working in a construction trade
- A strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to develop relationships with customers
- Strong ability to solve problems
