Job Summary:
Axium Services, a C&C Cleaning Company, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations at Almont Schools in Almont, Michigan. This working supervisor role is responsible for leading a team of janitors while actively participating in cleaning tasks to maintain high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise, train, and provide guidance to janitorial staff.
- Schedule janitors to ensure proper coverage and efficient operations.
- Conduct performance management, including coaching, evaluations, and corrective actions as needed.
Operations & Facility Maintenance
- Oversee and participate in daily cleaning operations, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Manage and coordinate school break special services, including deep cleaning, floor care, and other seasonal tasks.
- Ensure compliance with company cleaning protocols and safety regulations.
Supply & Budget Management
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Order necessary supplies while controlling costs and minimizing waste.
- Manage site profitability and overall financial performance by optimizing resources and labor.
Quality Control & Customer Service
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure high-quality cleaning standards.
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally to maintain satisfaction.
- Implement improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in janitorial supervision or facilities management required.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to work hands-on alongside the team while supervising.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical cleaning tasks.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
