Janitor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Buff floors and perform floor care duties to ensure surfaces are polished and well-maintained.
• Carry out custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and restocking supplies.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained in good working condition and report any malfunctions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing exceptional service in maintaining clean environments.
