Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Framer, Drywall Hanger to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal framing, drywall installation and finishing, along with a strong understanding of construction practices. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The Drywall Hanger will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
- Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening.
- Measure, cut, and shape drywall panels to fit around windows, doors, and other obstacles.
- Apply joint tape and compound to seams, corners, and screw holes to create a smooth finish.
- Perform sanding and finishing work to prepare surfaces for painting or other treatments.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and painters, to ensure project timelines are met.
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Drywall metal framer, Hanger or in a similar role within the construction industry.

- Understanding of plumb principles to ensure walls are straight and level.
