Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently move and dispose of waste material in the appropriate location.
- Perform routine inspections on forklifts and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the cleaning of specific areas of the facility.
- Operate sweeper and scrubber machines to clean factory floors.
- Perform routine inspections on sweeper and scrubber machine and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Skills:
- Proficient in operating forklifts, and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of materials handling and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Familiarity with forklift safety protocols is a plus.
- Familiarity with ride-on sweeper and scrubber machines is a plus.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in materials handling and warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Physical stamina to handle lifting and moving of materials
- Previous experience in waste disposal or recycling operations is a plus
