### **Position Overview:**
As a Small Engine Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of outdoor power equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, chainsaws, and generators. Your expertise will ensure our customers’ equipment runs efficiently and reliably.
### **Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on small engines and outdoor power equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, blade sharpening, and filter replacements.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Test equipment to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and offering maintenance tips.
### **Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines.
- Familiarity with brands such as Scag, Gravely, Bad Boy, Ariens, Echo, and Husqvarna is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work in various weather conditions.
