Bakery Customer Service Associate

Our bakery is looking for an assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment but also be capable of working independently. The position requires the successful candidate to perform a number of duties in a timely manner while providing an exceptional 5 star customer experience!

Responsibilities

• Great guests as they arrive with a friendly energetic demeaner.
• Be knowledgeable of our cupcake flavors and provide details to customers.
• Properly display and package cupcakes and baked goods with attention to detail.
• Take orders and check out customers accurately.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Keep a clean, neat, and orderly working environment.
• Accurately follow recipes to create cake and icing batters.
• Thrive in a fast paced & fun working environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with experience in food service and quick service environments
• Proficient in cash handling and operating POS systems
• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices
• Ability to manage time effectively and upsell products
• Basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management
• Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
