Deli Associate/Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a key part in maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with their deli orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring satisfaction.
• Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately.
• Buss tables and clean dining areas as needed to ensure a tidy environment for guests.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Follow all kitchen protocols to maintain food quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service or culinary roles is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for accurate pricing and transactions.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.

Pay: $17.32 - $17.89 per hour
