What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at C.D. Smith Construction, Inc.?
Summary
The delivery driver position is expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between job sites.
Essential Functions

- Transport of goods to job sites.
- Lifting and movement of products and goods (lifting 50lbs – 100lb regularly).
- Responsible for loading, off-loading and securing loads.
- Maintaining of the digital trucking log.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to operator large equipment is plus.
- Ability to work on own with minimal supervision.
- Time Management skills.
- Strong teamworking skills.
- Able to work additional hours as needed per the job.
Required Education and Experience
- Ability to travel to work sites.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Commercial driver’s license is a plus but not required.
- 1-3 years of related driving experience.
