*Job Summary*
We are seeking a Guard / Dispatch to join our team. The Guard / Dispatch will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
*Responsibilities*
- Guard Entrance Gate of Property
- Control & Log through traffic; Open gate to allow entrance or exit of employees, trucks, and authorized visitors
- Maintain Employee Time Punches & Timesheets
- Perform other reasonable job-related duties as requested, such as Load or Offload Trucks
- Night Shift to Handle All Phone calls, Dispatch, and Issue Purchase orders for Service
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Communicate effectively with team members and management
- Dispatch appropriate personnel in case of emergencies
*Qualifications*
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preffered, but not required
- Preferred; 6 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to Speak, Read, and Write in English ( Bi-Lingual is a Plus )
- Ability to apply basic understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
- Must hold a Forklift Certification or have Forklift Experience
- Ability to remain calm in intense / difficult situations
*Physical Requirements*
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak, listen, stand, walk, and sit.
- On occassion, Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
- Employee must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol test, and employment history check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
