What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Maintenance Technician position at C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation?
Maintenance Technician needed for Central Illinois Public Transit at the maintenance facility in Shelbyville. The primary function of this position is to provide basic repairs, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to a variety of public transit vehicles and related equipment. Candidates, at minimum, should possess experience which has led to the requisite skills and knowledge needed to perform the above-mentioned duties. An associate degree in automotive technology, vocational education, or related field is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Class D license required.
The position is full-time Monday through Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm; however, part-time positions will be considered.
