C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation, a Community Action Agency dedicated to helping people help themselves, is seeking candidates to fill the Christian County Outreach Coordinator position. This position will oversee the daily operations of the Christian County C.E.F.S. Outreach Office in Taylorville, IL which includes housing and financial counseling, emergency food and shelter, homeless services and utility assistance. In addition, the coordinator builds relationships with county partners, participates in county events to share information about services, and attend trainings and receive certifications in order to facilitate workshops on topics such as budgeting, student loan debt, and homebuying process. This position requires an associate degree, but a bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or related field is preferred. Must be able to relate and communicate with the target population and community leaders.
