What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach Resource Specialist position at C.E.F.S. Economic Opportunity Corporation?
As part of the Outreach team, this position will assist with waiting room activities including answering phones and greeting customers, scheduling, and office maintenance. The Resource Specialist is instrumental in running the food pantry which includes stocking shelves, preparing food boxes, unloading food deliveries, and maintaining food pantry records. This position may work directly with customers, under the guidance of other Outreach staff in defined areas including information and referrals, benefit enrollment, and assistance with the tax program.
Associate degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is required. Position is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Must meet pre-employment requirements.
