Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Engineer to join our professional team. The successful candidate will utilize their design, engineering, and problem-solving abilities to prepare conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents for various projects.
This role involves working on residential, industrial, and commercial developments, public roads and infrastructure, and stormwater management projects. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for resource scheduling, budgeting, and client communications.
Responsibilities:
- Municipal design, including roadway rehabilitation
- Grading and drainage design
- Utility design (storm, sanitary, and water)
- Geometric layout of new and rehabbed sites and parking lots
- Hydraulic design and calculations of small, large, and regional stormwater systems
- Manage and interpret as-builts
- Assist colleagues when necessary

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- P.E. License or E.I.T.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and manage multiple projects
- Strong communication skills
- Criminal background check and clean driving record required
- Functional in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- A working knowledge of surveying and survey principles
- Knowledge of ADA requirements and building codes
- Knowledge of stormwater best management practices
- Familiarity with private site and public infrastructure design
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations
- Experience working with local and state agencies in plan review and approval
- Experience working with city and county permitting and plat review process
- Familiarity with stormwater calculations, drainage design, and analysis
