Overview:
Seeking a reliable and hardworking Delivery/Warehouse Worker to join our team. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Have a good driving record, have attention to detail and be dependable and prompt. This position involves a combination of delivery driving and warehouse duties. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, be able to handle heavy lifting, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles such as box trucks and vans
- Load and unload products from trucks using forklifts or manual lifting
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers
- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the supervisor
- Communicate effectively with customers to address any concerns or inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse/showroom
- Perform general warehouse/showroom duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to [100 lbs]) and perform physical tasks
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Proficient in using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
