Role Description :
C&F is on a journey to grow revenue within the US Market. Leading this initiative is a newly formed US-based Business Development team, which provides strategic consulting and digital transformation thought leadership in hopes of cultivating business growth through strategic partnerships with current and new clients. The Business Development team has defined 3 pillars to support client acquisition and development – 1) Client Engagement 2) Business Lines and 3) Sales & Marketing. The Client Engagement and Business Line functions are growing entities, and C&F is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join the team to support in our continued growth in these functions.
The applicant will focus on supporting one or both of the below Business Development pillars, with the following Main Responsibilities :
- Business Lines – Focused on one of the C&F Business Lines
o Develop “client agnostic” Business Line Strategies, focused on attractive and valuable products, accelerators, services
o Support Client-Facing Strategic Thought Leadership through workshops and assessments to identify use cases and value enablement
o Support in scoping the Roadmap Vison for a client’s digital transformation initiatives
o Drive C&F’s Success Stories through the build out of robust persona-based credentials to share with current and future clients
o Support development of industry partnerships that strengthen C&F’s offering in a specific Business Line
o Support execution of client engagement strategies to ensure success and clear growth
o Collaborate with clients to define complex challenges and proposed solutions
o Support roadmap development and prioritization with clients
o Support clients with clear business value realization through defined use cases
o Communicate with clients on key project information and decisions needed to successfully deliver projects
o Support scoping and costing expectations with our clients, and support delivery teams in meeting margin expectations
o Gather detailed business requirements through various methods such as interviews, workshops, and observations. Analyze and document these requirements to ensure they are clear, concise, and actionable.
o Support Product Ownership by defining features and coordinating requirements for UX and delivery teams
o Help ensure that the requirements and the process are fit for purpose, supporting the design, build, and test of the changes and business readiness / training activities.
o Collaborate with end users to understand user needs and requirements
o Work with our leadership team and subject matter experts to propose and build innovative technology solutions for our clients
o Support internal operations in sustainable growth practices and cross team collaboration
Position Qualifications :
Must Have :
o At least 4 years of professional experience
o Strong client focus and communication skills
o Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and business problems
o Experience with Microsoft Office 365 such as Powerpoint, Excel
o Bachelor’s degree
Nice to Have
o Experience in technology delivery or implementation
o Experience within the Life Sciences industry, Commercial or Manufacturing & Supply Chain experience is a plus
o Technical proficiency in software delivery tools such as JIRA, Microsoft DevOps (ADO) or similar tools
o Experience in delivery methodology such as KanBan or Scrum
o Experience with project management practices and software
o Experience working with a cross functional team such as UI / UX designers, engineers and end users
o Experience with building or using business intelligence(BI) tools such as PowerBI or Spotfire
