Hours: M-Th 3:00pm-1:45amStarting Pay: $17.00
Summary: Perform hand assembly work on post-surface mount circuit boards by following detailed written work instructions.
Responsibilities/Principal Duties
- Identify and read values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole components.
- Identify orientation and polarity of components according to the printed circuit board for thru-hole.
- Ability to read assembly drawings to identify part numbers for assembly.
- Basic understanding of the IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.
- Utilize basic equipment.
- Utilize specialized equipment and/or machines as specified by management.
- Assist in the training of other assemblers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Prefer experience with production assembly process. We will train the right candidate who does not have the preferred experience.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping and stretching. Manual dexterity is crucial in the placement and handling of thru-hole components. Good eyesight is necessary for identifying components and there placement. Occasional light lifting will be required.
