Wood Stain Technician

1st Shift: Monday thru Friday 6:00am-2:30pm

Job Description:

• Experience spraying, preferably from a furniture or cabinet maker spraying wood with clear coat. Someone from the automotive painting side usually do well too.
• MUST have some real and substantial finishing experience of some kind.
• Has to be a quick mover, able to carry the material forward and backwards in and out of the spray booth.

Position is responsible for applying a clear lacquer finish to custom wood products.

Must be familiar with spray gun operation and maintenance.

Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds without issue.

Must be able to work on your feet all day.

Must have a good eye for detail and be able to detect and correct defects in finish.

Must enjoy and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, to “hustle”.

Must have a positive “let's-get-it-done” attitude and a desire to continuously improve.

Position involves staining, sanding, finishing, and touching-up of high-quality custom-finished wood products.

Position requires carrying of racks of material into and out of spray room. Must be able to safely and regularly walk forward and backwards while carrying racks and lifting them onto and off of carts.

• Spray Technician: 1 year (Required)

• Tape Measure: 1 year (Required)
• Clear Coat: 1 year (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
