Job Title: Accountant / Sr. Accountant / Controller

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant / Sr. Accountant / Controller to manage and oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing the primary accounting functions of the company and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Perform accounting functions primarily including payroll and general ledger transactions

• Act as a resource to our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements

• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes

• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Coordinate audits (internal and external) and ensure timely resolution of audit findings

• Produce financial data for management upon request and assist with other special accounting projects from time to time

• Perform analysis of operations on a monthly basis

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred

• Four or more years of progressive accounting experience is preferred

• Strong organization, oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word as well as proficiency in accounting and payroll software

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
