We are seeking a highly qualified International SETA (Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance). This role involves attending and tracking scientific meetings, synthesizing technical materials, developing scientific briefings, and managing multiple international research activities. The ideal candidate will have expertise in life sciences, social sciences, or human-systems integration, with experience in coordinating and engaging with international research organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Education:
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from an accredited college or university plus 5 years of relevant work experience; or Master’s Degree plus ten (10) years of relevant work experience in at least one of the following research disciplines: Life Science (e.g., biology, physiology, neuroscience), Social Science (e.g. psychology), or a domain related to Human-Systems Integration or related science;
Desired additional qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of the science and engineering research conducted by the DoD; and Demonstrated experience interacting with international research organizations

- Demonstrated ability to read technical material and synthesize important information and/or briefly summarize the material. This could include using large language models
- Demonstrated experience attending scientific and engineering (S&E) meetings
- Demonstrated experience in writing scientific documents and developing scientific briefings
- Ability to keep track of numerous research activities within each international effort and work several international efforts simultaneously
- Ability to take detailed and accurate meeting minutes and distribute them in a timely manner
- Ability to develop and format documents in a manner required by each international organization; and
- Ability to organize meetings with domestic and international participants.
