Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Manufacturing Manager to oversee our production facility. This role requires a strong leader who can build and manage production teams, optimize manufacturing workflows, track expenses, and drive operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the facility, ensuring smooth operational rollout.
- Develop staffing plans, oversee production schedules, and workflow processes to optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with Engineers and additional team members to establish best practices for assembly, automation, and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to align manufacturing goals with business needs.
- Recruit, hire, and develop a skilled workforce, including machine operators, assemblers, and supervisors.
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture focused on efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to production teams.
- Establish strong communication lines across departments to ensure alignment in production goals.
- Liaise with other manufacturing teams to share and implement best practices, process improvements, and standardization strategies.
- Coordinate all manufacturing initiatives, operational benchmarks, and technology transfers.
- Ensure seamless communication and alignment between all teams to optimize production efficiency and quality.
- Oversee daily production activities, ensuring high-quality output and on-time delivery.
- Monitor manufacturing costs, expenses, and budget adherence to maximize efficiency.
- Work with the Engineers and team members to identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Track inventory, materials usage, and waste reduction initiatives to drive cost savings.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes and reduce inefficiencies.
- Lead with a solutions-based mindset, proactively identifying and resolving production challenges.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing management, preferably in electro-mechanical assembly-based production.
- Proven track record in building and leading manufacturing teams and scaling production operations.
- Strong leadership, team building, communication skills, and a proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset.
- Experience in cost tracking, budget management, and expense control in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- MUST HAVE prior experience in and ISO environment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, operations, and supply chain teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, industrial management, or related field preferred.
