Responsibilities
- Working on equipment listed:
- electric motors
- bearings
- key ways
- lacing rubber belts
- welding duct work
- fabricating new parts
- forklift operator
- Fabricate food products according to specified recipes and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain equipment within the food processing plant, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Package finished products for distribution while adhering to HACCP guidelines.
- Sanitate work areas and equipment regularly to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all safety protocols related to food processing and machinery operation.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating production metrics.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus for handling materials within the plant.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in all tasks performed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 80 per week
