Human Resources Manager

This individual will play a critical role in recruiting, onboarding, managing employee programs, and fostering an exceptional work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Develop and update job descriptions to align with company needs.
- Manage relationships with trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and the Department of Labor.
- Administer the employee referral program to attract top talent.
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Oversee onboarding and new hire orientations to ensure seamless integration.
- Create and maintain an engaging and supportive company culture.
- Conduct team check-ins and employee engagement surveys.
- Organize team-building events and employee engagement activities.
Benefits Administration
- Procure, negotiate, and manage employee benefit programs, including healthcare, dental, 401(k), and profit-sharing.
- Handle open enrollment processes and address employee benefits questions.
- Track and manage state apprenticeship registrations and employee certifications.
HR Systems & Processes
- Administer payroll and technology needs, such as phones, computers, and IT support.
- Participate in weekly manpower meetings to align HR strategies with team needs.
Training & Talent Development
- Manage employee performance evaluations, including creating performance management metrics and systems.
- Maintain tools like the 9-box framework for talent development.
- Plan, schedule, and track employee training and licensing requirements.
- Partner with leadership to ensure ongoing development and skill-building.
Compliance & Administration
- Track apprentice hours and labor ratios.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in Human Resources or related roles.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with managing benefit programs, training initiatives, and recruitment strategies.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $82,177.00 - $88,648.00 per year
