Our Account Managers are strategic partners to companies globally. In this role, you'll manage existing Robinson Fresh accounts, building strong relationships with key contacts. You'll align with food service customers to meet their fresh produce and logistics needs, adding value as a trusted advisor. You'll be empowered to grow accounts by introducing new services and enhancing existing ones, focusing on efficiency, value, and profitability. Robinson Fresh, a division of C.H. In this role, you will engage with peers on-site three days a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, igniting creativity and driving impactful results. With the flexibility for remote work two days a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.

Responsibilities:
Develop account relationships with contacts at multiple levels within customer organizations
Identify opportunities to further penetrate accounts by selling Robinson Fresh and C.H. Robinson’s diverse portfolio of services
Use the Robinson Fresh tools to be able to drive solutions for your customer using price, promotion, assortment, size/spec/package, merchandising, marketing to proactively design solutions that help your customer compete and drive category growth
Design solutions and help our customers solve their supply chain challenges
Conducts pre-season, mid-season, and post season business reviews with customers. Communicates performance regularly and actively asks for more share of wallet
Understands customer’s business and service level goals and speaks in their terminology
Accountable to communicate effectively and represent CHR/RF with buyer level or lower
Identify issues and consulting with the customer to determine best course of action and implement solutions
Manage customer expectations through the creation and utilization of metrics
Collaborate on creating business reviews and contribute to or lead customer meetings
Order level management:
Works with account team to manage and plan order activities on a frequent basis and ensure all tasks are completed and accurate in the operating systems. This includes:
Order communication flow and notification of parties
Service failures (No shows, late deliveries, quality of product)
Track & trace
Missing/incorrect rates, Pricing exceptions
Open events
Exception management
Inventory reconciliation
Order / inventory planning
Invoicing files including reconciliation of claims & credits
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of previous sales and/or account management experience
Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions
Strong strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills (ability to persuade, motivate and influence others), and business acumen
Ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results
Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must work effectively with all levels of management and employees
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

Compensation Range
$27.45 - $42.84The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
