In this role, you will independently manage audits from start to finish, leveraging your expertise in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) Information Technology General Controls (ITGC) testing, planning and conducting risk-based operational audits, evaluating technology risks and controls, and performing data analysis to support assurance and risk assessments. You will also report findings and recommendations while monitoring remediation efforts to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.Additionally, you will take ownership of the SOX ITGC testing program, including organizing and leading walkthroughs, performing testing, reporting results, and overseeing remediation activities. With the flexibility for work three days a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following : Lead and contribute to SOX ITGC scoping, risk assessment, walkthroughs, testing, and documentation efforts to support the company’s SOX compliancePerform technology audits of processes, systems, and applications in alignment with the internal audit plan and methodologyIdentify and assess technology risks and controls, providing actionable recommendations for improvementPrepare clear and concise audit workpapers, reports, and findings, and communicate results to senior leadership and other stakeholdersReview workpapers and other deliverables prepared by staff auditors for quality and accuracyFollow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and monitor the effectiveness of remediation actionsStay up to date on emerging technology trends, developments, and regulations, and assess their potential impact on the organizationSupport senior leadership in developing and maintaining the technology audit universe, risk assessments, and audit plansCollaborate with internal and external auditors as neededParticipate in special projects, including fraud investigations and executive assignments, as requiredLeadershipPartner with Talent Acquisition to build a diverse talent pipeline, recruit, select, and onboard qualified candidatesManage annual merit and equity programs for your team, aligning compensation with performance resultsDefine employee accountabilities and expectations, manage performance to drive desired behaviors, and provide real-time coaching, feedback, mentoring, development opportunities, and stretch assignmentsSupport employees in resolving challenges and achieving their goalsAlign team performance with C.H.
