What You’ll Do:
- Perform Vehicle Inspections: Test and check systems to ensure everything is working perfectly.
- Diagnose and Repair: Identify problems with vehicles and perform necessary repairs to keep them running smoothly.
- Test Drive Vehicles: Ensure proper performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain Vehicle Components: Inspect and refill fluid levels, check tire pressure, and clean and lubricate parts.
- Install Parts: Replace oil drain plugs, oil filters, and manage oil levels.
- Utilize Tools and Equipment: Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete tasks effectively.
What We’re Looking For:
- Automotive Knowledge: A strong understanding of vehicles and diagnostic skills.
- Willingness to Learn: An eagerness to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
- Hands-On Experience: While experience is preferred, we’re open to candidates with a passion for automotive service and a desire to grow.
- Technical Skills: Ability to use electronic diagnostic tools and other equipment.
- Education and Certification: High School Diploma or GED required. ASE Certification or a Technical Degree is preferred, but we’re willing to help you work towards these qualifications.
- Experience: Ideally, one year of experience in a service department, but we welcome enthusiastic newcomers.
- Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential.
