C.I.S.S is growing and expanding. We are currently looking for an Event Field Operations Manager with music festival, concert and sporting event management experience.
We produce some of the most highly-anticipated events in the industry. From start to finish, our event operations director is responsible for the flawless execution of security for these events. We’re currently seeking an experienced event field operations Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high volume event management, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for problem-solving. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of event operations. Most importantly, they will be able to think on their feet and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational aspects of events, including but not limited to: logistics, transportation, setup/teardown, security, and on-site support.
- Work with internal departments to develop comprehensive timelines and checklists for each event, ensuring all deadlines are met and no detail is overlooked.
- Manage day-of operations for assigned events, troubleshooting any issues that may arise and keeping upper management and team apprised of changes or challenges in real-time.
- Ensure that all events are executed flawlessly and meet or exceed the expectations of our clients and guests.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve event operations and make recommendations to management accordingly.
- Monitor event industry trends and best practices, keeping abreast of new technologies and approaches that could be employed to improve our events.
- Train and supervise event operations staff, providing feedback and guidance as needed to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to event operations, ensuring all staff members are familiar with and adhere to these standards.
- Stay calm and level-headed at all times, even in high-pressure situations, modeling composure and professionalism for all event operations staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ experience in event operations management or related field with progressively increasing responsibility
- Proven track record of successful event planning and execution
- Strong project management skills, with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
