Summary

We are seeking skilled, experienced Industrial Painters to join our team at C&J Equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for painting steel components and ensuring the integrity and quality of our products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Operating spray and blast equipment to clean, wash, strip, and prepare fabricated items for applying paint or other coating.
• Selecting and mixing paint according to pre-determined formulas for optimal results.
• Apply paint using various methods, including airless spray techniques.
• Paint small parts and apply touch-ups.
• Inspect finished work for quality assurance and compliance with standards.
• Clean and maintain painting, coating, and protective equipment.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to painting processes and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting and materials handling.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
