Machine Operator

· Operator is responsible for reading and following work Instructions posted at work station

· Operator will check parts for defects (short shots, flash, splay etc.) and reject as necessary

· Operator will trim flash or rework part as assigned when necessary

· Operator is responsible for assembly of component parts as assigned

· Operator is responsible for ensuring that all product is labeled correctly

· Operator is responsible for packaging correct number of acceptable parts into assigned packaging.

· Operator is responsible for communicating their machine is down to Technician, Supervisor or Team Leader

· Operator is responsible for communicating to Supervisor, Team Leader or Technician that machine is making defective parts.

· Operator is responsible for correctly completing Injection and Scrap report

· Operator understands that they are to be at their workstation on time

· Operator is responsible for following all company policies and procedures

· Operator is responsible for 5s (housekeeping) at their workstation

· Operator may run different machines as trained to do so

· Operator may assist with giving breaks when necessary

· Operator is responsible for doing other jobs as assigned by Supervisor

Physical Requirements- Must be able to stand an entire shift with limited walking required. Operator is required to use hands repetitively during the entire shift, and must be able to lift five pounds or less.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
