Job Summary
Growing, fast-paced subsidiary of a global corporation that distributes new, remanufactured and used auto parts to insurance companies, dealer groups and independent shops needs a motivated, quick thinking Automotive Warranty Administrator who excels at customer service. This position is perfect for Claims Adjusters, Automotive Services Writers or Technicians who would like to apply their automotive knowledge from a comfortable office or home office setting.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of the warranty team to initiate, process and close warranty claims in the most efficient and cost-effective manner
- Communicating with repair facilities, vendors and customers via phone, email and IM to process claims
- Utilizing specific customer and vendor guides to meet each of their respective needs
- Negotiating and paying warranty claims once complete
- Developing relationships with vendors’ warranty teams
- Making pre-install calls to technicians to provide part specific installation guidelines
Qualified candidates will:
- Have strong automotive knowledge and either technician and/or service writer experience
- Be comfortable working with computers and over the telephone
- Be detail orientated and able to successfully multi-task
- Have experience working directly with customers
- Be able to make independent decisions based on sound judgment to keep customers happy
- Be professional, hard-working and easy to get along with
- Be willing to do what it takes to get the job done
This is a full-time, hourly position with no weekend work required. C&K has a casual, friendly work environment that is unique to the automotive industry. We offer competitive benefits including paid time off, health insurance for employees and 401K with match. Pre-COVID, this was an office position; now however, full-time remote work is an option after training. Virginia-based candidates only.
Compensation will be an annual salary of $45,000 , depending on experience.
