Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented automotive body sander to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience working with various power tools. This role is essential in preparing surfaces for finishing by sanding, and priming to ensure high-quality results. The Sander will work closely with other team members to meet production goals while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Operate sanding equipment and tools to smooth surfaces of vehicles.
- Perform detailed inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Fabricate parts and components as required using various power tools.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with co workers to ensure job is done in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Proven experience using power tools and sanding equipment effectively.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday.
- Previous experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
