Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, specializing in automotive painting and restoration. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality finishes on vehicles. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and the ability to work with different materials. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring that all work meets our high standards of quality.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking areas as needed.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results.
- Apply paint using spray gun
- Assist with buffing and polishing when needed to enhance the appearance of painted surfaces.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively during the painting process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Experience
- Previous experience in auto painting is required.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to automotive painting.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the painting process.
- A background in automotive body prepping, or auto restoration will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Automotive painting: 2 years (Preferred)
