Job Title and Responsibilities:
C&K Trucking is seeking a detail-oriented Gate Inspector to join our Kansas City, KS team. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, be computer savvy, possess excellent people skills, have experience in the trucking industry, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Inspect chassis and container for missing or damaged parts
- Record Truck number and trucking company via SCAC code
- Record the entry in the system of container, chassis and Truck number
- Note all damages that are present with the equipment inspected
- Accurately record all data in real time
- Check and verify booking with customers, contractors, and outside entities
- Frequent yard checks when requested
- Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30am - 4:30pm
