C&K Industrial Services is seeking a motivated Industrial Operator with a CDL Class B License and Tanker Endorsement to join our operations team. What You'll Do:
As an CDL Operator, you'll be integral to mobilizing and operating our equipment. Your role will involve a blend of driving, equipment operation, and hands-on tasks at job sites.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Truck Operation & Maintenance: Operate and maintain combination vehicles, including vacuum trucks, roll-offs, and other industrial equipment. This includes driving within plant confines, handling short-distance travel as well as possible travel between our C&K locations, and ensuring proper cleaning, fueling, and general maintenance of the truck.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with Laborers, Technicians, and fellow Operators. When not assigned as the truck operator, you'll assist in site tasks, including hydroblasting, vacuum operations, and tank cleaning.
- Safety & Inspections: Conduct safety inspections, adhere to safety protocols, and ensure equipment is always in good working condition.
- On-Site Support: Actively participate in site operations, assist other team members, and help ensure the job is done right. You’ll be expected to wear multiple hats and contribute to a variety of tasks on-site.
Qualifications:
- CDL Class B License with a clean driving record and tanker endorsement.
- Experience with combination vehicles, roll-offs, or garbage trucks (passenger-only transport experience not suitable).
- Manual transmission experience is required (we do not operate many automatic vehicles). Vehicles are manual and 8 to 10 speed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT medical card.
- Comfortable lifting over 50 lbs and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions and in potentially hazardous environments.

Work Schedule:
- We operate 24/7/365 with varied schedules. Technicians and Operators are assigned daily schedules based on project needs, with shifts that may include evenings, weekends, or holidays. Flexibility is key, and we offer consistent work year-round.
