Compensation : 18 - $20 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Record and track the movement and sales of auto parts within the dealership’s inventory control system
- Hire and supervise the automotive parts department employees
- Track records for auto parts warranties
- Communicate and negotiate with vendors to purchase parts at price points that facilitate a favorable ROI
- Facilitate promotional offers to help drive automotive parts sales
- Organization inventory management of parts for all vehicles on site or scheduled in the future
- Return all parts that were incorrect, damaged, not needed, cores, etc.
- Follow-up phone calls to update management on inbound parts based on the production schedule
- Maintaining an efficient "delivery cycle time" for parts
- Contributes to a healthy positive work environment. Works well with others and understands how imperative the parts department is to a collision repair shop
- Inventory management for all materials, including, but not limited to; hardware, sandpaper, tape, plastic wrap, paint, other liquid materials, detail supplies, etc. These are to funnel directly through the parts department and not ordered or received by anyone else
- Complete CAPA COMPLAINT forms when parts are defective or damaged to receive labor material reimbursement for any performed work
- Order last-minute parts or additional parts required for job completion when directed by the estimator or manager
- Documents all files with notes anytime communication is initiated or received regarding parts updates or any information relevant to a job
- Assists with any necessary tasks as instructed by the shop manager, including, but not limited to; taking cars to sublet vendors, picking up or dropping off customers, cleaning the shop, removing garbage / cardboard, assisting other departments of the shop

We also manage one of the largest towing fleets in the state. As one of NJ’s largest family-owned MSOs, we pride ourselves on delivering an unmatched level of customer service and craftsmanship for all your collision repair needs.
We offer full benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid time off, and an IRA with a company match. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with occasional Saturdays.
