Component Shop Technician

C&L Aviation Services, a C&L Aviation Group company, has an opening for a full-time Component-Shop Technician to perform component-based maintenance, repair, and inspections in our Component Shop under the direct supervision of FAA certified Aircraft Technicians. No previous aviation experience is necessary.
Responsibilities include:

• Assist licensed Technicians in performing component servicing, maintenance, and modifications
• Effectively performs work to meet deadlines and performance goals
• Properly complete all necessary paperwork in accordance with the customer, C&L Aviation Group, and FAA requirements
• Maintain work area, tools, and vehicles in clean and safe working conditions

Job Details Include:

• Previous experience in performing mechanical, hands-on repairs in various industries
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills
• Positive attitude towards productivity, safety, and quality maintenance
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, move safely in uneven and confined spaces, and safely climb ladders while carrying 25 pounds
• High school Diploma
• Employment is contingent on a pre-employment DOT mandated drug test and then subject to random drug and alcohol testing once employed
