Job Summary
The incumbent will be a great communicator with the innate ability to identify needs, make the sale and create amazing displays.
The sales area includes the area from Silver Bay to Grand Portage and the Gunflint Trail.
This is an in-person sales position.
Hours/Days
- Full Days - Mondays and Tuesdays
- Partial Day - Most Wednesdays
- 20-25 hours/week

Job Overview
The C & L Distributing Sales Representative is the energetic and relationship-driven frontline representative to our customers who is responsible for developing and leveraging personal relationships to maximize sales and increase market share. A detailed job description is available upon request.
Requirements:
- Beverage selling experience preferred.
- Competitive mindset with awareness of competitive pressures.
- Highly self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to think creatively to develop customer-oriented objectives and strategies while promoting a positive image of our company and products
- Improve market share, distribution, product shelf position and case sales per account by building relationships in the account, spending an appropriate amount of time in each account, and communicating with owners, employees and customers.
- Monitor Key Performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that goals are met.
- Introduce and sell new brands and packages, including use of promotions.
- Use creativity with merchandising and displays.
- Plan and participate in evening and weekend promotions as needed.
- Adhere to all distribution agreements.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to learn and utilize sales software, and also be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Complete sales certification through AB within a requested timeframe.
- Ability to occasionally lift, load, unload and move products weighing up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
- Possess a driver’s license with a clean driving record per company standards.
- Must pass pre-employment strength test, background check and drug screening (will not test for CBD/cannabis/THC).
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
