C & L Transport is based in Raleigh, NCAverage age of our fleet is 3 years old. We have well-maintained equipment. Minimal downtime.We have loads in and out of NC every day.Starting pay of $0.60 per mile for all milesMinimum of $1250 per week as long as you run 5 days weekly.Can earn up to $0.06 per mile additional bonus weekly.Duties
Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs of driving hours and distances traveled.Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.Maintain communication with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.Qualifications
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.3 years verifiable driving history.Spotless safety record and solid work history.Proven experience in route driving with a solid understanding of load management techniques.Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles effectively.Experience with refrigerated trailersStrong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices while driving and handling cargo.Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.To apply for a driving position, please complete our online employment application.
