Job Overview :
An Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods primarily along the East Coast, ensuring safe and timely deliveries. As a key member of our transportation team, the OTR Truck Driver will play a crucial role in maintaining our commitment to customer satisfaction and efficient logistics.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Operate and drive tractor-trailers along designated routes, focusing on the East Coast region.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs, including driving hours, miles, and cargo information.
Collaborate effectively with driver advocates, providing updates on delivery status and addressing any issues that may arise.
Interact professionally with customers and clients during pickups and deliveries.
Candidate Profile :
Strong knowledge of transportation laws, regulations, and safe driving practices.
2 years OTR experience.
Fluent in oral and written English.
Truck Driving School.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (CDL A).
Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic.
Ability to sit for extended periods and endure long driving hours.
