Job Description – Window and Door Service Technician

Seeking a technically skilled and hard-working Window & Door Service Technician to service Andersen windows and patio doors. Days consist of 4-5 appointments to customer homes that are experiencing problems with their windows and patio doors. During appointments, Technician will troubleshoot products, propose solutions, and perform repairs on-site. Many of these service calls will be paid for by the customer, so a sales background, or good people skills is a plus.

Job Duties:

· Window troubleshooting and repairs (must be mechanically inclined)

· Patio & entry door troubleshooting and repairs

· Finish carpentry (installing exterior trim or interior moldings)

· Change window glass, replace window & door hardware, change rollers, update weather-stripping, etc.

· Effectively communicate with homeowners

Job Requirements:

· Basic knowledge of home improvement - carpentry, home repair, installing window/doors

· Must have driver’s license and clean driving record

· Must pass background check

· Must be able to work alone without immediate supervision

· Good communication skills with customers are key to our business model

Experience: Minimum 5 Years of construction experience, and 3 years of window and door service experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
