We are currently seeking a full-time mechanic to join our team at our Leesburg shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining our dredges and various construction machinery. The main focus of this role will be inspecting engines and equipment, providing services, carrying out repairs, and conducting regular maintenance on our construction fleet. Previous experience working with construction equipment is preferred. Must be able to perform tasks involving physical activity. We are open to training new specialists in our field.

Compensation : 30 - $38 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Inspect and diagnose defects in various heavy machinery like trucks, skid steers, excavators, dredges, and pumps by operating and assessing the equipment thoroughly
- Adjustments, replacements, and repairs on faulty parts are performed, and routine maintenance is provided by cleaning and lubricating all equipment.
- Promptly report any malfunctions or damages to the management team for immediate attention.
- Willingly work in extreme weather conditions, whether indoors or outdoors.
- Respond quickly to signals and pay attention to near and far ranges details.
- Complete tasks efficiently with or without direct supervision.
- You must be legally authorized to work in the United States to be considered for this Heavy Equipment Mechanic position in Leesburg, FL, US.
- Successful candidates are required to pass a background check and drug screening
- A valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving history is a must for this role.le
- Previous knowledge of hydraulics would be a plus for this position
- The ability to lift up 75 lbs is necessary.
- You should have the physical stamina to endure prolonged periods of exertion without fatigue.
