This role supports high-profile entertainment clients, including production companies and talent, ensuring smooth contract negotiations for marquee projects across film, television, digital, and streaming platforms. Responsibilities include managing production agreements, drafting and negotiating legal documents, and maintaining compliance with entertainment labor unions such as SAG-AFTRA, DGA, and WGA. The paralegal will also conduct legal research, maintain contract templates, and provide administrative support for various media production matters.
The ideal candidate has over five years of paralegal or contract administration experience in the entertainment industry, with strong knowledge of entertainment law, media production, and copyright filings. Preferred qualifications include law firm experience and familiarity with U.S. Copyright Office filings, though these are not mandatory. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule (one to two remote days weekly) after 90 days of employment. The salary range is $85,000 to $120,000, reflecting the candidate’s experience and expertise in this dynamic field.
