The Real Estate Practice Group of our client is seeking a Senior Paralegal for its New York office. This role involves supporting attorneys and specialists in real estate transactions, including preparing, reviewing, and organizing loan documents, titles, surveys, and zoning materials. Responsibilities include reviewing title commitments, negotiating and clearing titles, handling due diligence, drafting loan and property documents, and assisting with corporate formation. The Senior Paralegal will also train entry-level paralegals, attend meetings, and notarize loan documents.
Candidates must have at least five years of title and survey review experience, superior organizational and communication skills, and strong attention to detail. The role requires multitasking, critical thinking, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma is required, though a bachelor’s degree is preferred. Applicants must also be eligible for a New York Notary commission.
The position offers a base salary range of $79,350 to $115,000, depending on qualifications, experience, and location.
