The Coordinator collaborates with hiring committees, HR, and external vendors to ensure seamless recruitment, orientation, and development processes.
Responsibilities include planning law school recruiting strategies, organizing events, and coordinating interviews for law students, lateral candidates, and summer associates. The Coordinator manages communications with summer associates, organizes social and professional events, and ensures an engaging program experience. They handle candidate records, interview logistics, and evaluations, using systems like Flo Recruit, while maintaining relationships with search agencies.
For professional development, the Coordinator supports mentoring programs, creates integration checklists, and arranges training logistics. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office, database systems, and adaptability to work evenings or overtime during busy seasons (particularly May-July).
This full-time role requires a bachelor's degree, two years of relevant experience (legal recruiting preferred), and the ability to maintain confidentiality in a fast-paced environment. Hours are 9:00 AM-5:30 PM with a one-hour lunch, and the position is exempt under FLSA.
