C&M Precision Tech, a world class supplier of precision engineered and manufactured metal and plastic parts and components, is expanding and is in need of a talented individual to lead and grow our 2nd shift operation. We offer a 4-day workweek (Monday - Thursday 4 : 15pm - 2 : 45am), an excellent benefit package and the opportunity to play an integral part in the growth of the business.

The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring the production work cell is actively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule. The Team Lead provides effective training to the work cell and ensures safety and quality standards are maintained at all times. We are looking for a team-player, someone who has extensive machining experience, with the ability to complete full machine setups and operation.

Essential Functions

• Work with 1st Shift Team Lead(s) and Production Manager to understand goals / workload before the start of each shift
• Delegate tasks, set and communicate deadlines to team members
• Oversees day-to-day operation of area
• Monitor team performance, setting clear goals
• Identify areas for training opportunities, needs or skill checks
• Be the technical resource for team members, helping to solve problems and oversee team members’ work for quality and guideline compliance
• Conduct team meetings to update team on best practices and continuing expectations, as necessary
• Listen to team members’ feedback and resolves any issues or conflicts (escalates to HR when appropriate)
• Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
