You are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and looking for an opportunity to grow in the financial industry. At C&N, we’re seeking a Loan Support Specialist I to join our Commercial Lending team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless lending experience for our clients by supporting lenders with loan processing, document preparation, and ongoing relationship management. You will play a key role in assisting commercial customers with their financial needs, helping to drive loan growth while maintaining accuracy and compliance. You will be responsible for:
- Client Relationship Support – Assist with client onboarding, answer inquiries, process loan payments and advances, and provide top-notch customer service.
- Loan Processing & Documentation – Prepare commitment letters, review loan documents for accuracy, assist with loan closings, and work closely with lenders and third parties.
- Loan Maintenance – Manage document tracking, handle loan disbursements, ensure compliance, and monitor loan renewals.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration – Work with various teams, including the appraisal department, central loan processing, and external partners like attorneys and title companies.
- Delinquency & Payment Management – Process payments, monitor delinquent loans, and keep lenders informed on past-due accounts.
Requirements:
You will need a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and less than 1 year of previously related experience and/or training OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You will demonstrate well-developed abilities and/or proven record of success in the following areas:
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Detail-oriented with strong research abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of loan systems is a plus
